When a first time fix has not been possible we work quickly to relay any relevant information back to landlords to allow work to be completed at the most suitable time.

Home of multiple occupancy (HMO)
You will require to do the following:

Have a EICR carried out to assess the suitability of your electrical installation

Have a Gas safety check carried out
-
Have emergency lighting installed where it is deemed that there is not enough borrowed light to light up escape routes in the event of a fire or electrical black out

Have a mains voltage interlinked smoke alarm system installed covering all bedrooms, common areas and large storage cupboards.

Have all appliances that are landlord owned PAT tested to prove they are safe for use

Have a fire risk assessment carried out

Install fire extinguishers and fire blanket in property

Have a CO alarm fitted in rooms that have a gas appliance or boiler
Once you have had the following work carried out you are required to have the following inspections carried out routinely to make sure the property is still up at HMO standards.
